is my frogspawn ok?

i just recently bought a small frogspawn with two "heads" for my 10g. it looks healthy overall, but occasionally one of the heads (the same one every time) will retract. is this normal or should i be concerned?

Mine does that as well and has been for years. The same head will always retract to where you can't see any flesh at all, but it comes back every time.
