prizm skimmer basket ?

i picket this skimmer of the big big auction site for my 25 gallon tank hooket it up and skimmes better than my seaclone, any ways the in take has a adjustable intake basket should i raise the basket to the highest or lowest setting,i would think raise it cause all the surface junk?

You are correct. Raise it until the surface water gets through. That is the water you want to be fed to your skimmer.

I would be a bit carful about that, as if the water level in your tank gets too low then the water cant get into the surface skimmer and the skimmer will loose its prime. Ive had this experiance many times.

Yes, it's best to keep the water level constant. If you keep an eye on it and top off every day, it should not be a problem. Good luck.

thanks for the advice,i cant believe the little mods i did and this thing skimes like crazy,i heard and read all the people say negative things about prizm and i have to say i am impressed good buy seaclone in my 46
