Light Hours?
Ok I read in here a while ago that 8 hours of lighting is sufficient for corals to grow and thrive. Does this lighting period change if they are MH or PC's?
The only reason I ask, is because my LFS owner said to change my light hours from 8h to 12h? I did that, now going through my SECOND algae bloom! Along with natural sunlight is this too much? Corals seem fine and absolutely LOVE the natural sunlight. I guess if it's fine at 12h I’ll leave it. Any comments or suggestions?

Thanks sxwab, I defiantly enjoy the extra light hours in my aquarium. Is there such a thing as too much light over a period of a day?
Longer light hours, how does it affect our corals? Better or worse?
