Any and all lighting opinions accepted!

I am starting a new tank 60 x 24 x 20. Lighting mounted in canopy. I was thinking of creating two lighting zones or a gradient in the tank with a combination of MH and T5(see really crude diagram). I was thinking of a 250w Phoenix 14000K in a Reef Optix III pendant. Potential corals:
Caulastrea furcata
Lobophyllia hemprichii
Favites sp.
Platygyra sp.
Fungia repanda
Zoanthus sp.
Ricordea florida
Ricordea yuma
Rhodactis sp.
Blastomussa wellsi
Maybe some Monitpora and/or Stylophora

I was planning on T5 retrofits with two 6700k t5's to flank the 14000K MH. The other six t5's I was thinking of one 6700K, two 11000K and three aquablue+. I have not been able to find a retrofit kit for a DE 250W HQI. Sunlight supply says that the reef optix III reflector can be mounted in a canopy. This will be powered with a remote ice cap electronic.

What do you think?
How high to hang the MH above the water surface?

Any ideas on where this lighting plan might fall on the yellow-white-blue scale? Looking for white light with enough blue for coral growth.
I have read that 14000K has enough blue light elsewhere on reefcentral. Would you agree?

Or if anyone thinks I should scrap the whole idea, I won’t be offended.

Thanks,
K

2 x MH and two single strip T-5's. The lighting will look un balanced. Or in other words, your eyes will be playing tricks on you. LOL
