Good reading material for starting a reef?
I was just wondering if anyone could suggest the best books that you feel are essential for starting a new reef. Thanks a lot.

The Reef Aquarium Volume 3 by Delbeek & Sprung its like the bible for reefing. but its pricy. honestly if you look hard enough you will find anything you need to know here on RC. i do recommend getting some books on corals, and fish. my favorite fish book is Marine Fishes by Scott Michael
heres an article that will help you out alot. http://www.reefcentral.com/modules.p...showpage&pid=1 heres a list of other popular books. http://www.reefcentral.com/books/

I own the new marine aquarium and found it very helpful in setting up my now 2 month old system. I've heard good things about some of the other books you mentioned as well. Thanks for the info =)
Also, has anyone read the Joyce Wilkerson or Frank Hoff clownfish book? I had also been thinking about purchasing one of these books (or both). |
