True perc missing, CBS lost pincher, 1 of 3 cleaners missing all his antennas, ***?

Ok, got a 180 display with a 150 sump and 100 fuge, about 400g total volume. Been running for 8 month now.

Have had a pair of true percs for the last 6 month. Well, 3 days ago, one of them go missing. Next thing I notice is that my 3 cleaner shrimps are not out and about like they normally are. Next I notice that my banded coral shrimp is missing one of his clippers. I then spot and count my 3 cleaners. But one of them is missing all his antennas. All three are hiding in the rocks.

All these guys were getting along great for many months, and then this goes down. What is going on?

I did add a clown tang 2 weeks ago, but he's getting along just fine with my other tangs (Yellow and Kole). Could he have somehow upset the balance between the CBS, cleaners and Percs? I don't see how, but something must have spooked the shrimps and somehow killed one of my Percs?!?

IME I thought you could not keep cbs and cleaners together

I picked up the CBS first, then added the 3 cleaners 2 months later. Kept a close eye on them, and during the day, the CBS would stay in this cave. During this time, the cleaners would prance on the rocks and jump on my hand anytime I put it into the tank.

3 days ago that all changed. Perc (his partner is extremely unhappy and might not make it despite them both being happy as can be prior to this episode) went missing and the cleaners are all hiding and the CBS is missing one pincher.

If the CBS is the culprit, I have no problem with putting him in the fuge or trade him in. The cleaners were soo much more entertaining before. Always out and jumping on the fish as they swam by.

Anyway, I guess I'm looking for experience from someone who has had this happen to them and what they did to resolve it. I'm really bummed about loosing the Perc. The verts will heal themselves, but the Perc (and the partner) might be gone for good.

Try putting the CBS in the sump and see if that chances anything! Maybe he is....if it isn;t he can go back in the display!
