Gravity Feeding a Chiller

My chiller runs so infrequently, I really feel it is a waste to run a pump for it all the time. I'm looking into gravity feeding it. I was thinking I could drill a dedicated 1" bulkhead to feed my CSL 1/4 HP chiller off my overflow. The min flow requirement is 480GPH. I would have approx 4' Head pressure on the line. Do you think this would work. Any pros, cons, or comments would be appreciated. I know some of you out there are looking at reducing electric costs, and have probably considered this. Please Help.

Dan
