what can i do for a siphon break for my return line?
is there anything i can build to break the siphon on my return line,
so when I turn off the pump the water does not overflow the sump? |

what about a check valve? either that or drill a small hole in your return line right at your water level.

I drilled my returns just below the water line and drilled a second hole on the bottom of the pipe: the returns run horizontal in the tank: That way if the higher hole should plug, only a inch of water will drain. You should clean the holes monthly.

Definitely check the holes often...just dumped 3gals on the carpet because the holes were plugged. Luckily, I was here or it would have been 50 Im on it now

I drilled holes everywhere heh. 2 returns, 4 holes total. just need 1 of them to be clear at any given time.
their all over the water line too. zero syphon.
