Black Background
Thinking of black background for a new 120 tank to blend in/hide the overflow box.
Would appreaciate any pics you may have to see what it would look like Thanks |

The sides, back and bottom are painted on mine... I painted the underside to eliminate light from entering the tank from my sump/fuge. This keeps down the harmful photosynthetic bacteria such as Cyano, that often begin growing under a sandbed.

I used a vinyl from my LFS, it goes on just like window tint and can be peeled off if you want a change. It wont scratch like paint.

I dont care for monotone backgrounds -- I go to the wallpaper store and use gold marble wallpaper for my background.
Picture is in my gallery --60g brazil pic - but it looks even better in person

I do it to hide the plumbing and show off the inhabitants...
