Buying fish online

Does anyone know of a website that shows a picture of the actual fish for sale? Not just a stock photo.

online stoes usually only do pictures for rare items. No one wants to pay 300$ + for a fish and not see the ACTUAL one. (well i dont.. lol)

There is no way they can do that for all fish, it takes way to much time and the stock is constantly changing. Most fish dont vary to much in color. main ones would be fairy wrasses i think.

I used to be in contact with a small shop some where and he would take pictures of stuff I was interested in but I can't find the site again. Huma humas, clown triggers and Australian Harlequin tusks vary so much in color and brilliance and I haven't been seeing ones that are very vivid. I know a lot has to do with diet and good lighting but the rest is all capture location.

I just bought some corals and fish from Auqacon.com seem like a hands on group that really care the guy who sells you the fish actually picks and ships your items. At least that's what he told me unless he was blowing smoke but, I don't think so seem like good people.

Roons, I used to have a Picasso I believe was from Australia. The diagonal white bars were clean and crisp, the blue bands between the eyes were electric and he had a bright yellow mouth line. The ones I've been seeing lately along with all of the indo and Australian harlequins have been real "muddy" looking, no clean lines and dull colors. Hardly any of the harlequins have had the big blue teeth I used to see. I'm guessing the industry has found a new place to export from with less restrictions and unfortunately less striking fish.

could you imagine trying to take a photo of a fish, good enough to post, post process it, post it, and then trying to catch the same exact fish later on?

is every fish of the same kind going to be housed seperately? you want to get a taste of the added cost for the labor of doing such a thing on a wide scale?

if they start doing it, im first in line for a job. photoshop and reefing, da best combo!
