Is this ok
I got my frame together for my sump today and did a water test but it leaks appently I didn't use the glue well (Maybe because the smell was unbareable and yes I was outside with a face mask) so I use a bead of silicon to go along the conners. Will the silicon help at all?

What kind of glue did you use? I would just get some silicon and use that. I just some aqurium silicon before and have used that to divide off a sump and to glue pvc pipe together. Its held since.

It is a acrylic sump and I used the acrylic cement but I can't get anymore in the cracks so I used some silicon. I know acrylic and silicon don't bond well but what other options are there I can't order anymore and I can't get all the silicon I need and use it is the 100% silicon for tanks

Silicone doesn’t stick to acrylic it will peal off. If you get your liquid glue and run a bead along the joints, the capillary action should pull it in and seal it.

you need to use the acrylic cement. Put it in corners and let it melt the 2 pieces together.

Was this an acrylic sump ? I'm go expert, but how well will the silicone hold on the acrylic. Glass , I'd say no problem.

You can get acrylic square stock and glue strips along the seams this will give it strength and help seal it.
