do you have any pics of your lighting set up? I am having troubles figuring out what to do as far as lighting goes on the same tank. I'd like a plug and play t5 setup if possible. I saw you on this thread: http://reefcentral.com/forums/showth...5&pagenumber=1
it said you almost got the same fixture, and I can't reach these people to find out what fixture they have. Do you know what it is? I would really appreciate help - I can't find anything to fit those booger corner tanks!!! I want to stay away from HQIs and I don't want anything that has to hang from the ceiling.

I'm running a 250 Watt MHL 20K Fixture. It's hanging about 10 inches above my open top tank from the ceiling. I'm not sure what the other tank has for their lighting. I would PM them and see if you can get a response. It appears that the tank in the thread has a glass top on it, and the lighting fixture is just sitting dirrectly on the glass via the leg mounts, but i could be wrong...Good Luck and thanks for giving me a look back at what my tank looked like at 2 months

Gluestick - I have a 4-bulb, 24" Teklight propped up on the glass lid. It works pretty well, but I wish I would've bought the 6 bulb fixture instead because I want more actinics. Oh well, atleast Aquactinics is coming out with a 5-bulb, 24" fixture in the future. Maybe I'll upgrade to one of those when it becomes available. If you have any other questions, shot me a PM.

I would really prefer to go topless on the tank, and have the fixture straddle it in some way? Is this wishful thinking???

This is an old thread that no one has replied to since march..... is that really considered hijacking? not to be a jerk, but i think people on this site can be pretty anal about the hijacking thing, especially when there are so many threads about the same thing over and over.
