Yellow tang not eating good

I got me a used setup recently and the only fish was a yellow tang. He nibbles on some flake food but just will not touch Mysis. I used to have a yellow tang some time ago and he would stuff itself on mysis. This tang is very skinny and wonder if he is close to dying. I hope to save him since he is eating some but I think the meaty mysis would be a bit better for him to plump up on.

Any ideas to encourage him to eat more or better?

Are you feeding it any nori? If not then you should be. Anyway give it time it should start eating.

I agree with dubbin 1, get yourself a clip and put some nori in, it will start nibbling on that.

Everything besides zuchini and honey eventually expires... I wouldn't pick up a new bottle though. Try the garlic and nori as is.

Wish you the best of luck and I hope your fishy feels better!
