adding cured LR to established tank

I bought some rock localy for $2 a lb. It took me about 1 1/2 hours to get home (traffic). Is this rock ok to add to my tank? I've read that "within the hour" is good but I took a little longer. It was transported in the same large tub I bought it in with the water as well.

70 lbs added

270 ish existing in established 200 gal tank.

Just monitor your Ammonia and be ready for some small and frequent water changes if needed. You should be fine.

Got a QT tank? If so, use it to store the live rock and slowly add pieces in one at a time. Let the piece 'cause its mini-cycle and move on to the next piece.

That's the best way I can figure out how to add rock without risking a strong spike.
