medium light, medium flow, give them thier space because they are aggressive. they will except and benefit form meaty treats, but its not needed to feed them at all. all in all a pretty hardy coral with a pretty quick growth rate

I'll second that they are not cheap. For a decent size (4 - 5") Acan Lord you could probably expect to pay anywhere from $150 to $200 on line or at an LFS you could pay upwards of $300 to $350.

Great looking LPS -- thinking of buying one this weekend.

Aren't they like the coral du jour (i.e., overinflated pricing)?

Yes but you can find some of the more common colors for a good price. As a matter of fact I picked up this frag at a swap for $10.

half of mine croaked in the first 2 weeks about an 8 in. piece i got from lfs 90 bucks same piece going for 300 at dr. macs, put him at the bottom of the tank seems to be doing ok but i dont think it will make it

They grow pretty fast too. I'm coral sitting a frag my friend got with 5 heads about a month ago...and now there are at least 3 small new heads popping up on the sides...
