I have been using the 250w version of these and I am really happy with them. http://oceanencounter.com/Merchant2/...ory_Code=EVMHR

Thats the ones i have now, i was just wondering if there was a better one out there! I saw the Blueline Ballasts. I just thought that these were huge ballast for one and that they give off a ton of heat! Thanks for the info though!

Thats strange because mine don't put off much heat at all. Anyway, most ballasts are going to be about this size if not bigger and give off heat

Mine are about 18-20" long, about 10" wide about 10" high and weigh about 35lbs a piece! They were so hot before i put a fan on them it actually burnt my hand!

Are you sure that you have the same ones that I linked to? That sounds like you do not have electronic ballasts.
