versa top, good to use?
I purchased versa top for my tank. This recommended to use? I do not have a canopy yet, but plan to build one when I am finished building my stand. To start with though I will just have the coralife 4x65's on the tank, with the versa tops. keep the versa tops or return them?

Versa top is ok but will affect lighting as it gets dirty and even as new but if you plan on having any wrasses or any jumping fish you must have a top to keep them in

I use a similar top on one of my tanks. I took off the plastic tab at the back to allow more air circulation. As stated, they do require cleaning, but can be fine, depending on the exact setup. They might reduce gas exchange or trap heat. In my case, gas exchange is fine, and trapping heat is a plus.

thanks for the feedback, I will keep them then, I will be using a 30g sump with the megaflow 90g as the main tank, gas exchange should be fine with this setup right? also have a asm g1-x skimmer that will be in the sump

I think that with the skimmer and the sump, you should be okay with gas exchange.
