Clean dried salt out of a chiller
During my move I must have accidentally packed my chiller (PCI cl-280) away with a small amount salt water inside.
I just got around to setting the tank back up and found that the salt water is now dried up inside the chiller. What is the best way to clean this dried salt water out of the chiller? |

I'd personally just run freshwater through it for about 15-20 minutes to clean it out and to clear out any crud that has accumulated there over time. Vinegar is used primarily for cleaning out calcium deposits unless you think you have some inside the chiller then in that case, I'd put in 25% vinegar and flush it for an hour.

I agree with jeffb3t - Flush it out with fresh warm or hot water. You can run it through the chiller hoses for the tank.
