epson salt
Is it safe to use just epson salt to regulate mag levels.Do I have to look into buying another DIY product and having the problem of where do I find it.You had mentioned the dead sea works products but does anyone know where I can order online.Canada sucks for trying to find these things.Its so much easier to find products in the US.Its very frustrating.

They don't sell the magnesium chloride at the HD in canada, I checked. Prolly online.

The problem with Epsom salts (magnesium sulfate heptahydrate) alone is that it elevates sulfate fairly rapidly. If you use a lot of calcium chloride, that effect is reduced, but still a factor. Using magnesium chloride is better, and best is a mixture of magnesium chloride and Epsom salts:

thanks Randy I thought that long term use of just epson salt might not be the best way to go.I will have to try and find magnesuim chloride.
