correct lighting
hi all
i was thinking of a outer orbit hqi/compact florescent/lunar fixture the lighting comes out to be 342 total w/4 lunar 1 150 watt hqi and 2 96 is that to much or to little for my 65 gallon tank 36-18-24 cheers Ashley |

Depends on what you want to keep, but it should be enough for just about anything. I would run a 10k 150w, and the rest actinic. You might want to find a 250w halide though with that kind of height (24"). It would give you much better lighting.

I'm running the 6ft version for about 3 months now. Great unit. Very quite and does not create heat issues even though it's only 4.5" off the water surface.

though i want to start out slow and build up to it lps, sps and clams. i am going to be putting alot of stuff in shady areas in the tank i was thinking about starting off with softies and zoos.thats the pan anyway
