Current USA fixtures

Hello,

I have an amazing opportunity to acquire a Current USA fixture to go over my 120 gal!

I am considering the 48'' fixture with 2 X 150W MH and and 2 X 130W PC.

I have looked through the first 48 pages of the forum to try and find any opinions on the "Current USA" brand, but couldn't find a single thread....

Since the search has been down all day, I figured I'd try a post

Could anyone comment on any the fixtures Current USA makes???

Even better, does anyone have experience with their MH units???

Thanks alot!!!!!

I have the 6ft, 3x150mh and 4x96 PC. I have had no problems in 6months. I really like this fixture. I do plan on upgrading the PC lighting to T5 though.

I use Current for all my tanks. The only issue I have is the noise of the built-in fan.

Apparently recently they really S--K. Our lfs keeps getting them returned ( 5 this week alone ) due to bad ballast. They wont even sell their product anymore.

I have a current outer orbit 150mh and dual 96watt actinics. I am happy with the unit, noise is not a problem. I wish my overflow could be so quiet.

I put T-5's on another tank and there is so much more output. I figure I could save nearly 200w by replacing 4-96w bulbs with 4-54w bulbs and still have more output.
