The AmpMasters are super quiet....no, you don't understand, I mean dead silent. I have to actually get behind the stand to hear my AM3000, and then it's only a slight hiss.

The AmpMaster's are not as quiet as the Darts though, in order to hear a Dart you literally have to put your ear on the motor.

Did MDM say what may be wrong with your Dart? BTW All Darts run warm to the touch, atleast every one I have seen.

Just out if curiousity.

Call sequence. Your Dart carries a 3 year warranty. I had a sequence pump that started making noise recently. They sent me a loaner pump, then I sent mine in for warranty repair. It received new seals, a new motor, and was returned to me at no charge.

Top notch customer service.

I just emailed them. It is one of the ones with the blue plastic. So I think there may be an air leak. I love the flow this thing puts out. The heat sink is really hot to the touch.
