I've used this on my Bow tank and I think they're great, all you need to do is add a Lee's Counter Current Skimmer in the first compartment and you have a full filtration fuge system.

I have the small version on the back of my 29g. I have a 10g sump, but couldn't use it as a refugium because of the skimmer. So the Aquafuge works perfect as a refugium. My chaeto grows like crazy in it.

paladin - do you have it hooked up to your display, or to your sump? i dont really have space for one on my display, but i'm seriously thinking about plumbing one into my sump.

I have it hooked up to the display. And when you say you don't have space for it, do you mean there's not enough room behind the tank?

I was planning on using this as my source of filtration/water movement.
I have a HOB filter customized into a fuge/filter. It produces (or atleast should) enough water flow for my future 2 sea horses and goby as well a means of keeping macro. Do you think this aquafuge would be alright for flow? Or should I get a pump to stick in the tank also? Thanks
