I've used this on my Bow tank and I think they're great, all you need to do is add a Lee's Counter Current Skimmer in the first compartment and you have a full filtration fuge system.

I have the small version on the back of my 29g. I have a 10g sump, but couldn't use it as a refugium because of the skimmer. So the Aquafuge works perfect as a refugium. My chaeto grows like crazy in it.

paladin - do you have it hooked up to your display, or to your sump? i dont really have space for one on my display, but i'm seriously thinking about plumbing one into my sump.

I have it hooked up to the display. And when you say you don't have space for it, do you mean there's not enough room behind the tank?

i'll snap some pics tomorrow, though it just looks like a long, clear HoB filter

I was planning on using this as my source of filtration/water movement.

I have a HOB filter customized into a fuge/filter. It produces (or atleast should) enough water flow for my future 2 sea horses and goby as well a means of keeping macro.

Do you think this aquafuge would be alright for flow? Or should I get a pump to stick in the tank also?

Thanks
