too much flow for a 100% softie tank?
Hey Now all,
I am wondering what you all think is considered optimal flow in a softie tank. My tank is a 40breeder DSB 100% soft coral tank. I have been using two 1200 maxi jets for flow in the tank. The return from the sump is 300gph. so with the maxis and return I am getting 22x I know awhile back it was the norm for 5-10x for a softie tank. Is it still the norm today? 22x too much? The vigerous flow seems to do well for getting detritus to the skimmer, but it almost seems the corals enjoy life when the powerheads are turned off. Any input or advice would be greatly appreciated. thanks!

not too much. sounds good. you'll want that kind of waterflow to keep all the crevices nice and clean
