Are there any fluctuations with your water parameters? Salinity? temp?

It's not abnormal but if it happens a lot there may be a problem.

nope

Temp is always around 79-80*
Salinity is constant.
Ammonia, trates, and trites are always 0
pH is low but normal

only happens when the lights have been off. turn the lights back on and it's back to normal in about an hour.
