Pods and a Tiger Tail Cucumber

Last night I get home and grab the flashlight to look at the tank. I find my Tiger Tail Cucumber on the crushed coral and there are a couple pods, maybe three, running over him. Is this normal? I just want to make sure it's not on the verge of death and that's why they are on it.

My only concern with the cucumber is I have a mix of CC and sand and most of the CC is at the top because the sand gets blown away or settles below it and i was worried it wouldn't eat but i was told on here it would be fine.

when my cuke was alive i would always have 2-3 amphipods under him looking for food. once they lost there cover or came out from under the cuke, a fish would eat them. nature is cruel some days .
