here's an idea. tell me your thoughts....
you have a sump, we'll say its a 40g rubbermaid tub m'kay....you take a 1g milk jug and cut the top off of it m'kay.......then you fill the 1g milk jug with with sand, we'll say, argonite m'kay....... you put the milk jug full of argonite into your sump, we'll say in the corner as to be out of the way m'kay....... can this be considered a DSB, and if so, will it function as a DSB? i think it will, what do you think? ![]()

Chris, you may find your answer in this thread:
DSB in a bucket for nitrate control I don't think you will have enough to do much with only a one gallon jug. Now if you had five or six of them, you may start to accomplish something. M'kay ![]()
