smelly xenia...
anybody else notice the white pulsing xenia has a strong odor?

So does my pink xenia. I'm pretty sure any kind of xenia will.

I had to thin my xenia out and I threw what I didn't want into the kitchen garbage. By the next morning it smelled like dead fish rotting on the shore at low tide.

Why don't you frag your xenia and trade them to the LFS for corals or food.

I brought in a couple of quarts of xenia from a fellow reefer and it was late and I forgot to rinse out the pail....the next day my ENTIRE house smelled like ticked off xenia. It was horrible
