ETSS protein skimmer ???
I have been looking at a ETSS deluxe reef devil protein skimmer, for a 75 reef I am setting up now. It will be external sump installed. I would like input from anybody that has used one.
good or bad, thanks david |

I have the old school reef devil skimmer. I currently feed it from my overflow and I don't get anything close to OK results. If you plan to directly feed it by its own pump it may work better.

I'd look into an ASM. A bunch of folks in my reef club have used the ETSS RD with mixed results, none great. The Reef Devil is an okay skimmer, but it isn't a very good skimmer.

My Reff Devil sucks, I'm told by others a pressure rated pump will help. I won't waste any more money on it, so I'm going Deltec.
