Why Don't They Advertise Lumen Output???

When discussing reef lighting and various bulbs, and browsing on retailer websites, I only hear about how many watts and the color temp. a bulb or particular setup puts out.

Since two bulbs with the same wattage can be drastically different in terms of performance, isn't the lumen output just as important if not more important than wattage on any bulb, and why don't more retailers and manufactures publish the lumen specs?
