skimmer overkill?
I have a ETSS Reef Devil hooked up to a RIO 2100 sitting external. I was thinking of upgrading pumps of cousre and I read the specs to them and it said that you would be able to upgrade pumps to a mag 7.
My question is that if I was to go with a mag 9 instead would that be overkilling the skimmer? One thing to keep inmind is that the way the skimmer is sitting right now, it's about 2-1/2 feet away from the sump and pump. Anythoughts? Thanks |

I'm not sure if the MAG 9 would be over kill, but I would go with the ETSS recommended MAG 7. It works great for me.
