aga megaflow tank owners

is the overflow self priming (think that is what its called) once it fills up will it start to drain on its own through the overflow? Just got my tank in yesterday, did all the plumbing today.. still have to hook up my ro/di unit and make water before I can test it out, was just unsure about the overflow, the instructions that came with the kit does not say one way or the other.

Yes, as the water fills the overflows it will on it's own due to gravity.

How much deeper would the ocean be if it didn't have sponges?

yes it will. Just keep filling to the proper level in your sump.
