Question Silent Pump

Hello !

I'm construction phase for my futur Reef Cube 24x24x24 and i need your suggestion for the more quiet submersible pump
(+- 900gph).

Eheim 1262 will make you happy. Just make sure you mount it on some sort of foam pad to minimize resonant noise from vibration.

My Eheim is LOUD. So I don't know about their rep. It has a very noticable hum. Nothing can stop it. Cleaned it and switched out impellor.

Alot of people don't like Mag Drives but I love them, as long as you double to output diameter of your piping, it increases flow and reduces noise! Somewhere I came across an old Mag instructional paper and they recommenced increasing the pipe size! ie 3/4" outlet = 1 1/2" piping!

I will be getting a Mag drive! Just remember to use Schedule 40.
