spots on cleaner shrimp
Any ideas on a couple black spots on cleaner shrimp. I have had him 1 week. Never notice these before. They are on the side by his head.

i had some of those too from a cleaner i just purchased from a LFS, then they dissapeared with his first molt |

Sometimes cleaner shrimp get a disease that causes black spots. It tends to be fatal over time. That's one possibility. I think a search in the invertebrate forum might turn up more information on this topic.

Black spots is usually a sign that he's not gonna make it, but I hope you prove me wrong. One of my cleaners had the same thing and he slowly got weaker and didnt make it =(
