LR in sump

So it looks like i'm gonna have some LR left over and was thinking about tossing some of it into my stock tank sump. Does it need to be lit or will it work just the same w/circulation?

Don't worry about lighting it. It will perform the same function.

yep, i have some too....good for pods and good for bio filtration
