Watts Premier Zero Waste RO System

Has anyone used this system? How difficult is it to setup? I believe the waste water is drained in your hot water heater. Any comments are appreciated.

Through a patented system, the Zero Waste RO is 100% water efficient, in that it does not send any water to the drain, but instead reuses it with in the home water system.
I would believe your assumption is correct. It still produces the exact same amount of waste water, is just drains it to your water heater instead of the drain. Look at the filter components, there's absolutely nothing different about them...standard 98% RO membrane...5 micron prefilter, GAC...
Just the membrane alone tells you there's waste..it's just a matter of where they put it.

Doesn't look like any fancy new technology here.

Yes, technically my RO unit is non-waste if I take the bucket outside and pour it in the backyard....my grass and trees use it.

Interesting, I wonder how they overcome the back pressure from tapping the drain into the hot water line.
