ASM G6 malfunctioning after 6 month- help

I turned off my skimmer for 48 hours to treat my tank with red slim remover. After the 48 hours I turned the skimmer on and the outlet of the skimmer is making serious micro bubbles and making my sump look like a spa. I have removed skimmer and cleaned out every hole to make sure its not clogged. The skimmer is still making foam to the collection cup. Is this just a reaction to the medication and will go away, or is my skimmer messed up?

Just a reaction to the medication. If you want the problem to go
away faster you could run some fresh carbon, but that will remove
the slim treatment. It will clear in a few more days anyway.

So keep the skimmer running and put fresh carbon.

That would work the fastest. Just make sure your skimmer doesn't overflow the cup with water. It shouldn't if it hasn't already. You could also just be patient and it will settle back to normal in a day or two.
