Can this light support corals and clams?
Will an aquamedic spacelight 48" 2 150 W HQI x 2 24 W actinic bulbs provide enough light to allow me to keep soft and stony corals as well as clams and anemones? This will be for a 75 gallon tank.
Thanks in advance |

The more important issue is depth of tank and not size - as the light needs to penetrate through XXinches of water.
IMO the 150W HQI will be fine for the clams as long as they are placed directly below the position of the MH bulbs - as MH loose their strength as they radiat out from the center point.

Thanks, the tank is 18 inches deep. I guess a better question would be
What clams/corals/anemones will I NOT be able to keep with these lights? |
