help! creatures growing in my tank

in my magnetic algae remover on the inside I have these very small little creatures that seem to be spawning every day. When I move the magnet around the big ones fall off and swim to the top of the water. Im not sure if they are bad or not. I also have several white spots on my glass and have no clue what they are. I did see some small ceriths definately babies. Coul that be what they are? Help

It's difficult to tell without a picture, but they are probably copepods, amphipods, or isopods that are growing in your magnetic cleaner. Even Mysid shrimp, but they tend to stick to the rock work. The little white spots could also be various things, but I'm going to venture to guess that they are spirobid worms. Also, are you sure that they were cerith snails? Illyanassa obsoleta, Nassarius vibex, Cerith species, and Whelks are often confused. It doesn't hurt to know the difference, just in case

yep, hard to tell without a pic but I'm guessing hydroid jellyfish. Do they look like this?

i have several different snails such as abalone, tongan nassarius, and a few turbo but the majority of my snails are cerith and I even noticed a babycerith snail, very small. Upon closer inspection the white dots actually look like snails.

one other thing, are pods bad for my tank?
