Suggestions for beginners Corals
What are some good beginning corals that are still good looking that might be good for a 55 with 4x65 watt PC two daylight, two actnic. Id rather not have corals i have to "feed"

Your basic Mushrooms, Xenia, Toadstool Leather, Colt Coral, Green Star Polyps are some of the hardiest corals that require little/no feeding. Stay away from SPS, LPS and other exotic/ rare corals until you get some of these guys to live.

some mushrooms are always nice. that is what i started with!! had him for bout 4 months now. also have a leather coral and some green star poylps. id say those are all fairly easy to grow, also zoos they come in tons and tons of colors!!! hope this helps ya.

humm marinedepotlive has a warning with them that if their toxin gets in your bloodstream it can kill you....scary

I have the same question, but I have the stock JBJ nanocube DX 24G, it has 2x36W 50/50 = 72 Watts...
can I look into this same list? i'm about to put my first frag in there Regards, E.

That's a good investment, IMO. Most zooxanthellate (photosynthetic) soft corals should be fine in either of those tanks. Palythoa and similar corals are very toxic, so use gloves when working in the tank.

yea saw that book at the local store...goin for a good 40....too much on the internet for that...and besides i can always ask the extremely knowlegable people at RC;-)
