this is going to sound really weird

i see something on my tank glass in no special patter just place all around my front glass. there are like spots inside a clear sack. i dont know how else to explain it. do you know what it is.

eggs from something...probably snail although that description doesn't match up with the ones I've gotten...

Current Tank Info: 140g RR Oceanic "Ultimate" mixed reef, 37g softies, 40g RBTA tank, 65g FOWLR, 40g breeder frag, and (of course) a 29g QT! ...next up is a 240g! (Gotta go to K-Mart and buy a life...)

Hey Samantha,

Yes those sound like snail eggs to me, in a later stage of development.

Of course to make a more accurate identification a pic would of been needed.

there is not a lot of them and for me to get a picture that small would be inposible pluse it is clear and there are just white dots in the sack thing. it is very very small. what kind of snails would it be i just found a snail that was very small and looked like it could have just hached. the snails i have are under my name under current tanks.

yep sounds like nassarius or nerite snail egg sacks. heres a nassarius snail and eggs.

The eggs are harmless. In some cases, you'll get baby snails, although most often the eggs go through a free-swimming stage and are eaten or starve, etc.
