clown behavior

i bought two baby percs from lfs a month ago in hopes that they will mature into a mating pair one day. from day one, one of them has been dominant and chases the other one around, nips at it and is just genarally mean aggressive towards it. is this normal? i'm assuming they get lovey dovey some day when they reach sexual maturity.

perfectly normal, as long as the one fish does not get injured they should be ok and work things out over time.
