Changed DI resin in Typhoon III...TDS went up?

My TDS went up to 001ppm so I decided to change the DI resin to see if that was the problem. After I changed it, my TDS is now 011ppm? Do I need to waste water for a while using the fast flush and DI bypass valve?

I use the typhoon III.

I have a typhoon III also and I know they recommend running waste water after a filter change but I dont recall the amount.

Don't flush with the bypass...just dump the first 10 gallons of product water through the DI.

Is your DI bypass valve open? It is rather strange that it went up/not gone down. I usually have to waste less than 5 gallons after a resin change. Clean your TDS meter and the lid really good, waste a few more gallons, and retest.

Edit: What is your RO only reading? I would give that a flush for a few minutes before doing anything as well.
