i was wondering what method you guys use to frag a mushroom or ricordia? I have rock that's completely filled with mushrooms so i want to be able to take some off and put it in other tanks.

thanks

Cut them at the base with clean razor blade and place them in a plastic container with sand and low current. They will soon attach to the sand, when they do you can take them out and super glue them to som LR rubble or frag plugs.

Another way after you cut them is to tie them to a small rock with some fishing line or string. or rubber band them to a rock. this method works well but usually splits the ric or shroom into 2

How much deeper would the ocean be if it didn't have sponges?

Okay, sound like you mean moving mushrooms. Fragging can be done just by cutting them up.

What I would do is grab a few of the muchrooms and pull them off the rock. Then put rock or rubble (or whatever you want to use as a mounting media or plug) into a disposable plastic container like ziplock. Cut some homes in the container for circulation and put your mushrooms in there. Place the container in your tank. Wait for a few days for the mushrooms to attach to the rock and then take the rock out and place it.

You can also tie them down with plastic netting or tie them with fishing line.
