Moving to Hawaii
It looks like the Army is moving me again; this time to a not so bad place and to a not so bad job in Hawaii (Oahu). I am trying to get the low down on the reef keeping situation there. Obviously I will need to take my tank down. I know I can ship the tank and all the equipment however, what corals if any will I be allowed to have sent to me once I get everything reestablished in Hawaii?

Lucky You!!!! I got to visit there for 3 weeks...beautiful!
As for the corals, I would think you would need to get ahold of the ag department....and start working on it now...things go slow, if you are in the military, you know this! I don't know if they have regulations for the corals, but I would imagine non native corals would give them pause. Just my 2 cents worth, but I am sure someone that has gone thru it will know better. PS I know with dogs they have to stay in quaratine(SP?) about 6 mos because they don't have rabies there.
