? What skimmer do I get for a 15 gallon tank?
Please advise, I read, I read and I still don't know what to get for this size tank...
It's going to be a fish only tank... Visi-Jet Protein Skimmer? I have 19lbs of LR in the tank and a Bio Wheel 200. Thanks for the help. |

I used my cpr bakpak on mine, but that was temporary in QT because my bioload was VERY VERY VERY VERY high...
but, since you have a bio wheel, if you can take care of it, AND your bioload won't be high: do water changes weekly, and you don't really NEED a skimmer on that size tank. IMO...

No skimmer needed.
Weekly 1 gallon Water Change! You need to do it anyway. Skimmer or no skimmer.
