Black Sand.........Do you have it?

Thinking of setting up a FOWL with black sand like this:

http://www.marinedepot.com/md_viewIt...product=CS0821

Question is, if I have an eel will I get a dusctcloud every time it moves with such fine sand?

Any others use black sand?

Does it hide debris better or make it stand out more (like a black car)?

Anything you might suggest about it if you currently use it?

Thanks!

I had the sand in my small tank and did not like it at all because it scratched my glass when caught behind my mag cleaner and the sand would easily be kicked up, IME i would not use it

I have black sand in my nano, and while it does not get kicked up all the time, it does show detruis far more than the white (ish) sand in my reef tank.

Thanks for the input, I was wondering about the detruis and it being picked up.

I think I 'll probably go with just aragonite.....
