ID please

I know you will ask for a picture most likely, but this thing is way to small for me to get a picture of. It looks like a mix between an aptasia and a feather duster, but really small. Once it has been on the glass or rock for a while it starts to form a spiral "shell" around it kinda like a rams horn snail, and the featherduster part isnt seen anymore. They are about 1/2 to 2/3 the diameter of a pencil lead.
