Shrimp Gender
How do you determine a shrimps gender? I have two pair of shrimp. One Cleaner, and one Peppermint. And how do they mate?

These shrimp are hermaphrodites.

Being simultaneous hermaphrodites, both animals can be "pregnant" with eggs. They mate and then the eggs are laid, attached to the swimmerets of the abdomen.

I know I may sound like a pervert, but how do they mate? Not that I want to watch, but I'd like to be prepared for the stork to arrive.

I don't think it is perverted at all. Anyway, one member of the pair uses a set of specialized pleopods (swimmerets) and two join on the underside near the abdomen. This occurs after one individual molts--which is the individual that receives sperm. The sperm is stored there until eggs are laid and attached.
