Question Question for Kent Float Valve owners

I'm planning on getting one of these for top off in my sump, but I need some info as I am making the sump baffle right now.

What is the total length of the valve, minus what is on the outside of the tank through the bulkhead? In other words, the total length from the end of the float to where it attaches to the side of the tank.

Is it a 5/8" hole that you drill?

At the highest setting, how much lower under the hole does it maintain the water level? (Need to know where to drill the hole.)

Thanks.

Eric,

I just measured one of our floats. You will need a minimum of 7" in length from the inside of the mounting wall to the tip of the float. The float itself is 2" wide. I'd plan on 7.5" x 2.5" just to be safe.
